Chapter Index

The next morning, when Rosvitha rushed to the public library in the Holy Temple, it was already full.
The temporary location for the love tutoring class was here, which had a very studious atmosphere.
Everyone’s enthusiasm for learning was quite high.
It’s just that Her Majesty came… somewhat late today.
Rosvitha was also aware of being late, and her expression was somewhat peculiar.
Milan asked with concern, “Is Your Majesty feeling unwell?”
Rosvitha looked away, “N-no…”
She regretted believing that dog-man’s lies last night when he said he’d only do it once and wouldn’t delay her from coming to teach everyone the next day.
After one time, there was another time.
Rosvitha went along with him, indulged him, like coaxing a child—actually, she didn’t want to stop either.
And so.
Once, twice, and again, each time saying it would be the last.
But under the double dragon mark buff, their shared principle was “as long as it doesn’t kill us, we’ll do it till we die.”
Fortunately, Rosvitha had a workaholic constitution, allowing her to forcefully drag her exhausted body this morning, get dressed up, and rush here to share relationship experience with her people.
She had originally planned to emphasize what Leon said last night about the importance of “respecting each other’s boundaries” in a relationship.
But after experiencing a night of intense battle, she only wanted to say:
Stay away from dragon marks, cherish your life.
The Queen secretly sighed in her heart, shook her head to chase away the messy thoughts.
Although her body was somewhat tired, it didn’t affect her ability to teach her people about her and Leon’s understanding of relationships.
“Good morning, Your Majesty.”
“Good morning! Your Majesty~”
“Good morning, Your Majesty~”
The clan members and maids enthusiastically greeted Rosvitha.
Rosvitha nodded and smiled in response to each one.
Rosvitha walked to the floor-to-ceiling windows of the library under everyone’s admiring gazes. This was the temporary podium for the “Love Tutorial Class.”
Though called a tutorial class, it wasn’t particularly strict. It was more like a “mutual support group.”
Rosvitha gave a brief opening speech, then smoothly guided the topic to “respecting each other’s boundaries” in relationships.
Leon’s words from last night had greatly inspired her.
She had organized and expanded upon them, making it not particularly difficult to explain to everyone what relationships were really about.
The Silver Dragon clan members sat attentively in their seats, some even taking out notebooks to carefully record every golden phrase from their sovereign.
After about twenty minutes, Leon quietly appeared at the library entrance.
Rosvitha was deeply engaged in her lecture, and the clan members were equally absorbed in listening, so no one noticed Leon’s arrival.
Leon wasn’t in a hurry to make his presence known. He stood with his hands in his pockets, leaning against the library doorframe, his gaze moving past the bookshelves, tables, chairs, and crowd to land unerringly on the silver-haired beauty surrounded by admiring looks.
“Dragons have an innate impulse in their bones that cannot be controlled when emotions are aroused,” she explained.
“And after that impulse, someone often gets hurt.”
“Perhaps an enemy, or perhaps oneself.”
“But when we’re invested in a relationship, this impulse can hurt the person you care about most and who cares most about you.”
“We become controlled by emotions, saying the most hurtful words, or doing things that aren’t understood.”
“This is normal.”
“But normal doesn’t mean right.”
“Your Prince Consort and I have argued several times in the past for various reasons. Each time, I wanted to use the sharpest words to hurt his heart, to let him know what happens when he provokes me.”
“But in the end, I realized this only hurts both of us.”
“Fortunately, during those few family conflicts, we both instinctively left each other some breathing room, which prevented our relationship from truly breaking down.”
“If we keep pushing each other, thinking that forcing the other person into a corner with nowhere to retreat means we can declare victory… well, I can only say that isn’t victory at all, but true defeat.”
“What we need to do is solve problems, not treat the other person as a problem to solve.”
“At the same time, respecting each other and knowing when to stop before crossing uncrossable boundaries is also a good way to maintain a relationship.”
“…”
She shared her insights and inspirations with the clan members without reservation.
Leon quietly listened at the door.
As he listened, he scratched his nose and smiled smugly.
He wasn’t smiling because Rosvitha’s words resonated with him.
After all, they had exchanged all the sweet words they could last night, and the only things left on the bed besides various unclear fluids were their goosebumps.
Leon was smiling because of how Rosvitha had just referred to him in front of the clan members:
“Your Prince Consort.”
Leon felt this title was more formal than “my husband” and more approachable than “my spouse.”
It also let the Prince Consort himself clearly feel that little bit of pride in her heart when she said it.
No good.
He needed to let the mother dragon show more affection in front of the clan members.
That way, Leon could hear “your Prince Consort” more often.
After another hour or so, Rosvitha had said most of what she needed to say.
Next came the Q&A session.
“Your Majesty! Your Majesty! I read in a book that marriage is the grave of love. How should we understand this?”
Rosvitha pondered briefly, then replied with a smile,
“I won’t dispute the meaning of this saying, but personally, I think marriage isn’t the grave of love, but rather the beginning of the next stage.”
“The beginning of the next stage?”
“Yes. If you’re not ready to enter marriage with your lover, then naturally it becomes a cold grave; but if you’re ready, then it becomes love’s rebirth.”
Leon: Our love had no first or second stage, we started straight with pregnancy.
Kids, don’t try to copy this~
“Your Majesty, over here~ I want to ask, is having babies a scary thing?”
“Hmm… it’s a difficult thing, but I wouldn’t say scary.”
“Your Majesty~ Your Majesty~ Does the Prince Consort get jealous when you spend too much time with the princesses?”
“No, because obviously, he spends much more time with the children than I do. If anyone should be jealous, it should be me.”
“Then does the Prince Consort comfort you?”
“I make him comfort me, and he obediently does so.”
“…”
The Q&A continued.
The last question was quite explosive.
“Your Majesty, when was the last time you and the Prince Consort kissed?”
Upon hearing this, the previously eloquent Queen suddenly froze.
Her face quickly reddened.
What should she say?
Should she mention that they had just kissed this morning?
Wouldn’t that make it seem like she and their Prince Consort were too lovey-dovey?
Hmm~~~
Although this was a love tutorial class, would this be going a bit too far?
While Rosvitha was still brainstorming, she heard that rascal of a man’s voice from the side,
“Your Queen might not remember, since we don’t kiss very often.”
“Prince Consort!”
“Ooh~ The Queen and Prince Consort appear together again~”
Amid the teasing cheers, Leon walked to Rosvitha’s side.
Rosvitha looked at him and lowered her voice, “Have you thought about how to answer? Don’t you dare mess with me!”
“Don’t worry, I’ve thought it through,” Leon replied.
Then, taking Rosvitha’s hand, he smiled at the crowd of gossiping maids and clan members,
“But I do remember when our last kiss was.”
“When was it?” The maid Milan asked excitedly.
Rosvitha also looked at him curiously, wondering if he would tell the truth or—
Before the Queen could react, she felt a warm, soft sensation on her lips.
Instantly, her pupils dilated, her tail stood up, and her hands clasped together like a classic penguin pose.
When she came back to her senses, she heard the man beside her proudly say,
“Our last kiss was just now.”
